to market, to market!

Hello lovelies! What's cookin? I'm cooking up lots of stuff - busy trying to get a few spiffy new products made because I'm going to take my Little Beehive products to market yay! I'll be having a stall at the Grassroots Community Market in Upwey on Saturday 10th December. We checked it out on the weekend and it was really ace - lots of different stalls and some yummy food too! I'm a bit excited :) Alrighty I'd best get back to it. I'll keep you posted on my new products - I'm excited about those too (I'm gonna get busy with some hand-made stitchy stuff woohoo!) xo

5 months

On a bit of a personal note today... Our little bug is already 5 months old!
How the time has flown! Elora gets more amazing every day - being a mum is awesome.
I suppose I had better baby-proof this place, she's rolling over now so I guess it's not too long until she's getting around on her own steam :)

Print and Pattern 2

Whooowhheeee! I'm in the awesome new Print and Pattern 2 book! Very excited if you can't tell :D
What a thrill to be in the same volume as some of my modern design heros... so very humbling when I see the amount of super amazing work by all the other designers in the book though.
Thanks so much to Bowie Style for putting together this fab-o book, there are so many inspiring designers in there, my head is gonna explode with the awesomeness of it all :) Go Bowie, you rock!

Hello lovelies! Just a couple of new birthday cards I've been working on :) Still crazy busy here, which is lovely but I'm REALLLLYY looking forward to a week off as of Oct 31st... roll on! How is your week going? Hope you are all ace :) Wednesday is half-way to the weekend.... yippee!

oh baby

Howdy all! How was your weekend? Hope you managed to have some fun and get some relaxin' time in :) Just a super quick stop today to show you a couple of new baby cards I did recently. I had fun with these - wish I had more time to create more baby cards at the mo as I am certainly in 'baby zone' with little Elora right now :) Oh yeah - Elora had her first go at 'solid' food this morning - well, if you can call it 'solid'... looked more like that glue we used to use when we were kids, you know that white paste in the pots?! Judging by her facial expressions, it probably tasted like glue too hehe! Alrighty - my week is looking busy, busy, busy with work so I'm gonna get back to it.. head down, bottom up! xo

Hey there everyone! How have you all been? Hope you're all happy and well. I'm so excited to share this post with you today... the amazing Marian over at Sweetopia has put my little animals on her gorgeous cookies... and then she's put the cookies on top of CUPCAKES!! FREE downloadable colouring pages

Hello all! How have you been? It's happy times here in Melbourne... the past couple of days we've seen some lovely sunshine for the first time in a while! It feels like Spring is on the way at last - hurrah! I've been pretty busy with Elora the past few weeks so I haven't got much show-and-tell at the moment, but I am excited to let you know about our FREE colouring pages over at We Love To Illustrate. The girls and I have each created a colouring page you can download for free right here. We think they'd make a fun party favour for a little one's birthday - you could staple them together to make a book or bind them with some pretty ribbon. Happy colouring! xo

Thank you everyone for your comments and messages regarding the copycat issue! I really appreciate your support. I did contact the offender and she was apologetic and has removed the products from her shop :) So big 'thumbs up' to you all - we did it yay! Have a rad Thursday xo

ripped off!

Hello all! It's a bit sad that I have to do this post, but I feel it necessary to get the word out... as you can see from the image above, my Mister Fox illustration ha been ripped-off by another illustrator... and worse, they are selling product with the image on it in their DaWanda shop! You can see the rip-offs here.
What cheek! It makes me sad and angry when artists feel they can get away with such blatant plagiarism.
I will be contacting the illustrator later today to try and sort this out. But in the meantime, if any of you feel you would like to spread the word about this incident please feel free to blog or tweet about it :) We need to do what we can to stamp out nasty copycats!! xo
