i love the elephant because we had one as a blessing at our wedding and it remind me of that
What a great giveaway! Count me in! I love owls and elephants and i will be delighted to win any of those two packs!
Owls are an amazing creatures! Did you know that owls are unable to move their eyes within their sockets so they must turn their entire head to see in a different direction?! So funny!
In Russia, owl represents wisdom and we also call people who go to bed late and get up late - owls:)
So many... but top 2 are dogs - great personalities, loyal to a fault and they live to simply eat sleep and play. The other is squirrels - because they're awesome. We don't have them here (in Australia), we have possums which are much bigger and cute from a distance, but they can be a bit scary close up!
Just realised you're in Oz too! You'd know all about possums :)
hello, what a lovely giveaway :) my favourite animal is the turtle, probably because when I was little one of my favourite books was "The Smallest Turtle" by Lynley Dodd. Also because when we travelled down the coast of Aussie a few years ago (from Cairns all the way to Melbourne!) we went to the turtle sanctuary at Mon Repos beach just out of Bundaberg. At night time we watched the Loggerhead turtles come in from the ocean to lay their eggs and then slowly amble back out to sea. Magical!
An interesting fact...The loggerhead sea turtle holds the title of the world's largest hard-shelled turtle.
Hi Bee - what a nice idea:)
my fave animals are cats and birds, unfortunately my cat likes birds too, although a bit TOO much:(
hmmm interesting fact... well I've been watching some wrens in our garden recently. They're one of the tiniest birds we have in the U.K.(9 -10 cm long) and are very funny to watch, hopping about and flicking their tails in a restless fashion. Thankfully they are pretty quick and hopefully can avoid the attentions of my cat!
My favourite animal is the Antechinus. An Anti-what I hear you say?! Many professions ago, I was once a Ranger-in-training. I did some studies on these little guys and they are fascinating. I love them because they are the smallest Australian marsupial we have. But if you hate Mice, these might make you squirmish. Very small carnivorous little fella's that actually get mistaken for the common house mouse...For an extra entry I'll share another interesting fact...
...My second interesting fact is that they are the most aggressive marsupial out there. In fact, their love making usually leaves one of them dead. Ok, so now I'm sure I've over-shared. Only a Ranger could love them!
Oh, and if I was lucky enough to win - I'd love the owl pack. Just gorgeous.
in the words of TMBG-the sun is a mass of incandescent gas, a gigantic nuclear furnice!
love all your illies:0)
Bee - These are so adorable!...oh and I love me some giveaways ;) The animals that I'm mostly around these days are my two cats (babies) so they are my favs by proximity. Cheers!
Those are lovely! What a nice giveaway.
I love finches. They are just so tiny and cute!
Oh, I love your work and these two packs are so cute!
I've always loved elephants - ever since I was a little girl and carried a pink elephant around with me everywhere.
Have a great day!
Thanks! :)
love your site- it makes me smile...
as an all sydney gal living for the last 2 years in the english countryside i still absolutely miss each day the sound of the kookaburra's that used to wake my 3
kids up in our house by the beach in oz...now we live near cows & horses & dairy farms- its totally green & lush & gorgeous but it's nothing compared to the sound & sight of a kookaburra sitting on a hills hoist!
my story is...if an english bird-watching friend visits you in aust, & a random kookaburra comes & sits on their head- don't look amazed...do that quintissential australian thing & laconically say 'they all do that',you can be secretly delilghted at the experience on your own ...later :]
love the giveaway packs..
melissa
cooool a bee giveaway!! i love both of your little giftpacks :)
elephants! what is not to love about the largest mammal in the world? they have unbelievable memory, can live to be 80, weigh 15,000 lbs, have the largest brains in comparison to body weight (besides humans) and are fun to draw!
yeahhhhhh a super cute giveaway, count me in!
Well super fluffy bunnies would be my faves!
Thanks for the cute overload tip - I didn't know about that site and just spent the last half hour squealing!
It's very beautiful !
